I remember my brother went through fits many years ago with his homeowners association. And a development here in the Metroplex, every year there is some big blowup because of their Christmas light requirement, etc. I've even spoken to people where the homeowners associations try to limit kids playing in the driveway, what bushes you can plant, and so on. You'd die to know what our HOA dues are.
