I love taking the trips down memory lane. I've visited my old hometown a few times since I moved to the southwest, and everytime I go, the places are growing and changing. It's sad to see some of the places I used to know gone, but they will always live on in my memories.

I don't live more than a couple of hours from where I grew up. I've been back around the area a few times over the years. It is always kind of weird. Some things are so different, even the things that are the same. Mostly it makes me laugh that everything is much smaller than I remember it being when I was a kid. :)

Its funny you talking about school. In the village where my Mum(88 yrs young)lives is the old primary school I attended. Its now a private affair where the wealthy kids go. I had a teacher like Mrs Brown but in those days we got the slipper across our backside. The best days of my life......I think.
